Many of the rugs you see in the Gallery may be available in a few weeks.  If they are not readily available we can order by number.  It takes these skilled weavers several months to weave most rugs, depending on the size of the rug.  It is easiest and quickest to order designs from the Gallery selection, and then specify the size you need. 

Keep in mind that these are handwoven products and will vary slightly in size and color.  Each batch of dye may vary slightly, although with the new generations of dyes they are far more dependable and consistent than the natural or vegetal dyes traditionally used. 

 
Custom ordered rugs can be made in any size from 4' x 6' to 14' x20'.  Weaving Hands represents fifty of the finest weaving families in Teotitlan who use their own palette and patterns for special orders or can dye a unique palette for your custom design. 

Orders take four to six months for completion, depending upon size.  The finest handspun wool yarns are used in these pieces.  All custom orders can be finished with an exclusive integrally woven cord instead of fringe to ensure ease in vacuuming and assure generations of use.
